Crew Transfer Vessel SeaZip 6 – 24 PAX

CTV SeaZip 6, known as a Damen Fast Crew Supplier 2610, is a modern high-speed offshore service vessel of standard design. In the winter break of 2022, this crew transfer vessel was transformed from 12 PAX to 24 PAX. Responding to the demand for flexible and cost-efficient transport solutions for both smaller maintenance teams and larger groups of technicians.

The 24 PAX crew transfer vessel (CTV) is well suited for the following offshore services (amongst others):

• Transportation of industrial personnel 24 PAX
• Transportation of light cargo
• Hydrographic survey
• Diving support

CTV SeaZip 6 is a catamaran with two symmetrical hulls, providing enhanced sea keeping for optimum comfort and safety. Each hull is based on the Sea Axe hull shape. The crew transfer vessel is propelled with propellers, which are driven by marine diesel engines.

The Damen FCS 2610 ‘Twin Axe’ is a significant step forward from more conventional seagoing high speed offshore service vessels, due to the unique and superior characteristics of this hull form.

SeaZip 6’s competitive advantages include: more comfort, even in turbulent conditions; preservation of high speed in rough sea conditions; and a high level of fuel efficiency. The vessel is geared to strenuous and long-term deployment on the open sea and operates under class (Bureau Veritas). The 24 PAX crew transfer vessels of SeaZip Offshore Service are sailing under the Dutch flag.
